Experience Tanzanian culture and wildlife on this amazing safari getaway. We planned this Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Culture Tour for a family that wanted to witness the Great Migration and really get to know the local cultures on their visit. This travel package kept them very active, allowing them them spend their days on game drives and cultural visits and their nights in luxurious en suite camps.

They hit the ground running with a safari in the famous Lake Manyara National Park on their first day. They saw the park’s tree climbing lions sleeping in the branches, migrating flamingos, and hundreds of other species. They spent the next few nights at Manyara Ranch Conservancy. This eco-friendly camp is designed for privacy, comfort, and spontaneous wildlife sightings, with tents positioned to overlook the local watering hole. They spent their next few days going on game drives and exploring the conservancy on horseback on foot, then returned to their luxurious tented camp to relax at night and enjoy delicious complimentary meals.

Continuing their Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Culture Tour, they spent the next few days on a cultural tour. They stopped at the Maasai village of Mto Wa Mbu to learn about the local culture before moving on to their accommodations at Kisima Ngenda Tented Camp on the shore of Lake Eyasi. The next day, they visited another local village to meet members of the ancient Hadza tribe on their way to Ngorongoro Crater and their luxury accommodations at Plantation Lodge. This lodge offers the best of Tanzanian luxury, complete with delicious meals made from ingredients grown in the lodge’s own garden.

They spent the next day of their Tanzania Wildlife Safari and Culture Tour at the gorgeous Ngorongoro Conservation Area and Crater, a UNESCO World Heritage Site renowned for its rich wildlife. Next, they traveled to the famous Serengeti Migration Camp to witness the Great Migration, a wildlife phenomenon not to be missed. During their next few days at the camp, they enjoyed countless wildlife sightings, particularly of the migrating wildebeests, zebras, and antelope. They took Maasai-guided nature walks around the camp, lounged in their intimate and luxurious tented rooms, and enjoyed an al fresco barbecue dinner. After three nights surrounded by the beauty of the African wild, they took another cultural stop in Arusha before beginning their journey home.
