This African Safari Package was planned for a lucky young couple graduating from law school who wanted to experience the wonders of Cape Town, the wildlife of Kruger, and thrills and spills in Victoria Falls on this classic African safari adventure.
We started them with a few days in South Africa’s Mother City, Cape Town. They spent 4 nights at Welgelegen Boutique Hotel, a chic lodging in the heart of Cape Town. While there, they enjoyed scrumptious breakfasts on the terrace before setting out on the day’s adventures. They hiked up Table Mountain for spectacular views of the ocean and had plenty of free time to explore the diverse neighborhoods, chic boutique stores, and world-class dining of the city.
Next on their African Safari Package, they headed up to the Manyeleti Private Game Reserve in Kruger National Park for exciting game viewing on an African safari. They stayed at Honeyguide Mantobeni Tented Camp, a remote luxury camp where the couple were able to see elephants at the waterhole right from their bedroom. They enjoyed game drives and bush walks to see the abundant elephants, rhinos, lions, and hippos of the reserve. Then, they returned to the camp each evening to indulge in delicious, local cuisine outdoors by the fire.
Continuing their African Safari Package, they spent a night in Johannesburg before heading off to Victoria Falls Hotel in Zimbabwe. They were able to see the magnificent waterfall in a unique and thrilling way by taking a microlight flight above the falls. This small aircraft is open to the elements, which makes for a truly jaw-dropping adventure. They also went whitewater rafting on the Zambezi River, ending at the base of the falls, and took an exhilarating jump into the Devil’s Pool. In addition to their adventures at Victoria Falls, they enjoyed game drives into Mosi Oa Tunya National Park to continue searching for the Big 5.
At last, their African Safari Package came to an end, and they were transferred to the airport to begin their trip home.
