Africa Tour: Luxury Safari, Victoria Falls, and Cape Town

This Africa Tour takes you to safaris in Kenya and South Africa, plus Victoria Falls and lovely Cape Town.

This Africa Tour was planned for a family of 4 from Chicago who wanted to go to Kenya, South Africa, and Victoria Falls. This travel package allowed them to see all the highlights of southern and eastern Africa on an unforgettable family holiday.

They began their adventure with 3 days of game viewing in Kenya’s famous Maasai Mara. They stayed at the amazing Kichwa Tembo Tented Camp, which is located where the riverine forest meets the sweeping plains in the path of the awe-inspiring Great Migration. They enjoyed an authentic dose of African wildlife, delivered with legendary Kenyan hospitality.

Next on their Africa Tour, they did a few overnight stays in the bustling cities of Nairobi and Johannesburg before traveling to Victoria Falls. They stayed at Victoria Falls Hotel, a luxurious, colonial-style property with enviable views over the falls themselves. The next 2 days were packed with adventure: they went whitewater rafting on the Zambezi River and bungee jumping off the Victoria Falls Bridge. The parents also took a thrilling microlight (a small, open aircraft) flight over the falls for a truly heart-pumping experience.

Continuing their Africa Tour, they overnighted again in Johannesburg before heading to Londolozi Varty Camp in the Sabi Sands region of South Africa’s famous Kruger National Park. They arrived at camp in time for a delectable outdoor dinner, then spent the evening relaxing on their private deck with its own plunge pool. They spent the next 2 days on Big 5 game drives in the region of Kruger known as “the Land of the Leopard.”

They finished off their Africa Tour in Cape Town, one of Africa’s most beautiful cosmopolitan centers. They had 3 days to explore this lively city at their leisure. They took the cableway up Table Mountain for unparalleled views of Cape Town and the ocean, saw the penguins at Boulders Beach, and took a day trip to nearby Cape Point.

After 2 magical weeks, their Africa Tour came to an end. They were transferred to the airport to begin their journey home.
