Ultimate Ugandan Wildlife Safari

See nature’s most fascinating creatures, chimpanzees and gorillas, in their natural habitat on this Ultimate Ugandan Wildlife Safari.

This Ultimate Ugandan Wildlife Safari travel package was designed for 3 friends who wanted to witness some of nature’s most fascinating creatures, the chimpanzee and gorilla, in their natural habitat. Therefore, we designed a trip with several lodges across Uganda to get the full African wildlife experience.

After arriving in Uganda, they rested at the modern and luxurious Karibu Guesthouse. This lovely bed and breakfast was a perfect place to relax and prepare for their wildlife safari adventure. The next day, they picked up their rental car and began their journey to Murchison Falls National Park, home to elephants, buffalo, lions, and leopards, as well as a large population of hippos and huge crocodiles. They spent 2 nights at Baker’s Lodge in stylish tented rooms open to the surrounding area. During their stay, they enjoyed day and night game drives and a boat excursion to Murchison Falls.

The following day, they made their way to Kyaninga Lodge, a luxury lodge nestled into the hillside overlooking the picturesque Lake Kyaninga. They enjoyed mountain bike excursions in the gorgeous forest surrounding the lodge and tranquil evenings on their deck taking in the lake and the Mountains of the Moon beyond.

Continuing their Ultimate Ugandan Wildlife Safari, they made their way to Kibale National Park, famous for its 1,500 chimpanzees and many other species of primates. After an unforgettable day spent tracking a troop of chimpanzees and watching these amazing creatures interact with each other, they ate a traditional Ugandan meal with a local community leader and spent the night at the luxurious Mweya Safari Lodge. Their next 2 days were spent exploring Queen Elizabeth National Park with game drives and boat excursions, with their evenings spent at Ishasha Wilderness Camp.

Next on their Ultimate Ugandan Wildlife Safari, they prepared for the ultimate adventure: gorilla trekking in the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park. They spent a day tracking rare mountain gorillas in their natural habitat for a truly indescribable experience with nature. At night, they relaxed in their comfortable and secluded rooms at Gorilla Forest Camp.

Their Ultimate Ugandan Wildlife Safari ended with 2 nights in their luxury rooms at Mihingo Lodge overlooking the pristine Lake Mburo National Park. They were able to explore the surrounding savannah on foot, by boat, and on horseback to see the abundant wildlife, including hippos, crocodiles, and many beautiful water birds. Finally, their one of a kind wildlife safari came to an end and they were transferred to the airport to begin their trip home.
