South Africa Anniversary Trip: Luxury Highlights Tour

Enjoy the ultimate getaway in South Africa! Tour Cape Town with a private guide for a local’s perspective of this world-class city. Indulge your senses in the Cape Winelands, South Africa’s culinary capital. Then, head to the exclusive Sabi Sands reserve for a luxury African safari!

This South Africa Anniversary Trip: Luxury Highlights Tour was designed for a couple from Washington, D.C. who wanted a bucket list safari for their honeymoon. They wanted the VIP treatment, so we sent them to boutique, high-end properties and arranged private touring so they could feel like royalty on this special trip.

Their trip began in the beautiful, coastal city of Cape Town. They spent 4 nights in a gorgeous villa with a private deck overlooking Table Mountain. They spent a day exploring the city with a private guide. They took the cable car up Table Mountain for beautiful city views, then descended back into town to explore quirky neighborhoods, local eats, and hidden gems. They loved seeing Cape Town from a local’s perspective, and they got plenty of personalized tips on what to do for the remainder of their stay!

Next on their South Africa Anniversary Trip: Luxury Highlights Tour, they spent a day on a private wine tasting tour in the Cape Winelands. They visited boutique wineries for cellar door tastings and even got to meet some of the driving forces behind South Africa’s award-winning wines. After their tour, they were dropped off at Babylonstoren Farm Hotel—a true eden and a food lover’s paradise set amongst breathtaking mountain scenery.

After their indulgent visit to the Cape Winelands, it was time for their African safari! They returned to Cape Town and flew to the world-famous Kruger National Park. They spent 3 nights at the luxurious Londolozi Varty Camp in the Sabi Sands reserve, which shares an unfenced border with Kruger and offers a more exclusive wildlife viewing experience. They spent their days on game drives with an expert safari guide and saw abundant wildlife like elephants, lions, leopards, cheetahs, wild dogs, and giraffes. It was an unforgettable adventure! In between safari activities, they were able to unwind in their spacious and luxurious suite, cool off in their private plunge pool, and enjoy views of the expansive wilderness from their verandah.

At last, their South Africa Anniversary Trip: Luxury Highlights Tour came to an end. They said goodbye to magical South Africa and flew to Johannesburg to begin the journey back home.
