Wolwedans

Wolwedans is more than a collection of camps: it is a collection of dreams. Its ethos lies in setting an example in sustainability and continually fulfilling its commitment to the conservation of the NamibRand Nature Reserve.

Located in the heart of the NamibRand Nature Reserve in southern Namibia, their portfolio of timeless and elegant safari camps provides the perfect base from which to embark on exciting and interpretative desert activities or simply relax and enjoy the magnitude of the landscape. The red dunes, endless yellow plains, impressive mountain ranges and fascinating eco-systems of the NamibRand, an International Dark Sky Reserve, are unlike anything you have ever experienced. Visionary Albi Brückner created the NamibRand Nature Reserve in the mid-1980’s by buying 8 farms, dropping the fences, and so conserving the land and wildlife. In 1994, his son Stephan Brückner built Dune Camp on Wolwedans farm and so the Wolwedans Collection was born.
