This luxury Safari and Beach Vacation is perfect for those who want an African safari with a mix of adventure and relaxation at their own pace. We designed this package for a couple from Atlanta who wanted a beach escape in Mozambique as well as a South Africa wildlife safari.
They started their journey at Savanna Private Game Reserve, a 5-star luxury lodge located in the Sabi Sands region of Kruger National Park. This area of Kruger is famous for its abundant leopard, and our clients saw several leopards in addition to other members of the African Big 5. After each thrilling day of Kruger safari activities, they retreated back to the lodge for a delicious dinner and relaxing evening watching the local wildlife from their private deck.
Next on their Safari and Beach Vacation, they were transferred to White Pearl Resorts on the Mozambique beach for 4 nights in paradise. En route, they enjoyed an exciting, scenic helicopter flight. At White Pearl, they were free to indulge in the utmost luxury. They enjoyed excellent meals, crisp ocean air, and rejuvenating spa treatments. Their days also had just the right amount of adventure: they went snorkeling in the colorful reef and were able to get up close to sea turtles nesting on the beach.
After this fabulous beach escape, they continued their safari adventure in South Africa. The next stop on their Safari and Beach Vacation was the luxurious and utterly secluded Phinda Mountain Lodge. There, they began their days on morning game drives to spot the Big 5, then returned to the lodge for a wonderful breakfast and a leisurely break. They also enjoyed bird watching and a special canoe excursion. Then it was on to evening game drives to see more African wildlife before returning to Phinda Mountain Lodge to indulge in a delicious dinner and relax on their private deck overlooking the gorgeous mountain scenery.
At last, their Safari and Beach Vacation came to an end. They were transferred to the airport in Johannesburg to begin the journey home.

Day 1
Welcome to Johannesburg! You will be met at the door of your aircraft with your name on a paging board and assisted through immigration, baggage collection, and customs. You will then be shown to your onward flight to Kruger National Park and the Savanna Private Game Reserve, your home for the next 3 nights.

Day 2 – 3
Spend the next 2 days on safari at Kruger National Park, where the Big 5 of Africa are abundant. Savanna Private Game Reserve lies in the Sabi Sand district, known world over as “the land of the leopard.” After a thrilling day tracking the Big 5 on safari, retreat to the lodge for a delicious meal. Then, you can lounge in your colonial-style luxury suite or on your private deck overlooking a waterhole.

Day 4
Today, take a short flight to Maputo Airport. From here, you’ll be treated to a scenic helicopter flight, then be transferred to the luxurious and utterly relaxing White Pearl Resorts in Mozambique. Settle into your sleek, modern suite with magnificent ocean views.

Day 5 – 7
Spend the next 3 days in total luxury and privacy. Indulge in delicious gourmet meals on your private deck overlooking the beach, receive rejuvenating spa treatments in the comfort of your suite, and lounge on the beautiful white sands of the Mozambique coastline. Adventure is in easy reach, as well. Enjoy horseback riding on the beach, snorkel in the spectacular reef, look for humpback whales, or watch sea turtles nesting on the beach when in season.

Today, you will be transferred to Phinda Mountain Lodge, a luxury lodge poised on the crest of a mountain commanding breathtaking views over the Lebombo range.

Day 9 – 10
The next 2 days are yours to spend at your leisure. Take an exciting, early morning game drive to see the Big 5 and other African wildlife at their most active, then return to the lodge for a scrumptious breakfast. In the afternoon, you can cool off in your private plunge pool with uninterrupted views of the lush green mountainside. Then, enjoy an evening game drive or riverboat cruise before dinner. For additional adventure, you have the option (at additional cost) of taking a scenic coastal flight, tracking rare black rhinos, or making a cultural visit to a nearby village.

Day 11
Today brings the end of your fabulous African safari vacation. You will be transferred to the airport to begin your journey home.
