Tanzania Highlights Safari

Experience the highlights of Tanzania, including safaris in the famous Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks and in Ngorongoro Crater.

This Tanzania Highlights Safari was designed for a mother and daughter who wanted a unique safari experience on a relatively short trip. We sent them to some of Tanzania’s best lodges to experience the highlights of Tanzania, including safaris in the famous Tarangire and Serengeti National Parks and in Ngorongoro Crater.

After spending the night in Arusha to rest and refresh, they began their Tanzania Highlights Safari with 6 nights in the Serengeti, where they started did game drives in the magnificent Serengeti National Park, most famous for the Great Migration of wildebeest to the plains of Kenya. They split their time between the Northern and Eastern areas of the park. They went for early morning game drives to see the giraffes, lions, wildebeest, and more at their most active time of day, then ate lunch at the lodge before setting out on more game drives in the evening. In the evenings, they relaxed at their comfortable accommodations, where they were greeted with cold drinks and shown to their comfortable room with a private deck overlooking the African plains.

Next on their Tanzania Highlights Safari, they moved to Tarangire National Park.  They spent their time there exploring the Tarangire National Park. The park is most popular for its large elephant herds and mini-wildlife migration that takes place during the dry season which sees about 250,000 animals enter the park.

Next on their Tanzania Highlights Safari, they made their way to Ngoronogoro Crater area, an oasis that is home to rhinos, hippos, zebras, gazelles, and much more. They arrived at Ngorogoro Crater Lodge in time for a scrumptious lunch and relaxing for the balance of the day.  The next day, they enjoyed more game drives with their expert guide to see the unique wildlife of Africa up close in the pristine park. Finally, their Tanzania Highlights Safari came to an end.

After breakfast, they were transferred back to Arusha for an quick refresh before being transferred to Kilimanjaro International Airport to begin the trip home.
