This amazing Safari and Spa Vacation package was planned for a high-powered couple from Washington, D.C. They were looking for a trip that was a bit different, with a mix of adventure and luxury spa treatments. This trip to Cape Town, a safari lodge, and a Mauritius resort was the ideal African getaway.
They started their Safari and Spa Vacation in beautiful Cape Town and spent 4 nights at 2Inn1 Kensington, a luxury boutique hotel with stylish rooms and spectacular views of Table Mountain. They were free to explore Cape Town at their leisure. They visited fabulous boutique shops and gourmet restaurants on the V&A Waterfront, and also had some excitement by going cage diving with Great White Sharks. They made a day trip to the Cape Winelands to sample world-class wines and dine in South Africa’s culinary capital of Franschhoek.
After 5 days in Cape Town, they were transferred to Simbavati River Lodge, an intimate, luxury safari lodge in Kruger National Park. They enjoyed morning and afternoon game drives to see the Big 5, and also enjoyed seeing hundreds of interesting bird species. Each evening, they watched the spectacular African sunset in the bush with cocktails in hand, then enjoyed a delicious dinner around the fire.
Next on their Safari and Spa Vacation, they overnighted in Johannesburg and spent an evening exploring South Africa’s largest city. The next day, they flew to their luxury beach resort in Mauritus, The Oberoi. This fabulous resort is steps from the beach and a magnificent coral reef, where they enjoyed plenty of private snorkeling during their week-long stay. They also indulged in rejuvenating spa treatments, scrumptious gourmet meals, and long, leisurely walks on the beautiful beach.
After a fabulous trip full of adventure and the utmost pampering, their Safari and Spa Vacation came to an end. They were transferred back to Johannesburg, where they caught their connecting flight home.

Day 1
Today, your South African holiday begins as you jet into Cape Town and are transferred to 2Inn1 Kensington, a stylish boutique hotel situated in the heart of the Mother City. Once you have settled in, you can get ready to explore beautiful Cape Town.

Day 2 – 4
Spend the next few days exploring Cape Town, an eclectic, cosmopolitan, and trendy city full of life. Head up the cable car to the top of Table Mountain for some spectacular views, or take a stroll along the Camps Bay promenade. You can enjoy day trips out to Cape Point, visit the penguins at Boulders Beach, or marvel at the flowers at Kirstenbosch Botanical Gardens. Wine enthusiasts can take a trip out to the Cape Winelands, while shoppers can enjoy some great retail therapy at the V&A Waterfront. If you’re more adventurous, try cage diving with Great White Sharks, abseiling down Table Mountain, or boating out to historic Robben Island. In the evenings, you can dine out at one of Cape Town’s top restaurants—speak to the welcoming staff at 2Inn1 Kensington for some great suggestions.

Day 5
This morning, you’ll be transferred back to the airport where you’ll catch a flight to Johannesburg and on to Hoedspruit Airport. On arrival, you’ll be met and transferred to Simbavati River Lodge, where you’ll spend the next few days on an exciting South African safari.

Day 6 – 7
Enjoy 2 days of thrilling safari adventures. Simbavati River Lodge is situated within the northern region of the Timbavati Game Reserve, on the border of the Kruger National Park. Enjoy twice daily game drives looking for the Big 5, relaxing in the bush, and appreciating the peaceful surroundings. In between game drives, relax at your contemporary and stylish lodge, with many viewpoints from which to admire the Nhlaralumi River and the game that frequent its banks. You can also relax in the plunge pool, enjoy a pampering massage treatment at the secluded bush spa, or chat with the experienced rangers to find out more about the flora and fauna of the reserve.

Day 8
Today, you’ll be transferred back to Hoedspruit and then flown back to Johannesburg. Enjoy a transfer to Peermont Metcourt, a stylish hotel in the heart of the city.

This morning, you’ll be transferred back to the airport and catch a flight to the Indian Ocean island of Mauritius. Settle into your beautiful island resort, The Oberoi hotel, situated on the north coast of Mauritius.

The next several days are yours to spend according to your whim at your luxury resort. Secluded, romantic, and private, The Oberoi offers a unique island experience to its guests.
